Funds are budgeted in Facilities Maintenance Improvements budget 001-1931-546200-171603. The project budget will be moved into 001-1931-563000-171603.

Previous Action



Staff recommends Board approval to award Bid #17-050 to Close Construction, LLC in the amount of $81,426.00 for construction of drainage improvements at the County Administration Building and authorize the Chairman to sign documents as approved by the County Attorney.


In April of this year the County entered into a contract with Stephen Cooper, P. E.  to develop construction plans that would address the ongoing drainage problem which exists at the County Administration Building along the south parking lot. 


The project went out to bid; 435 companies were notified and 13 bid documents were distributed.  On August 16, 2017 bids were opened. Close Construction, LLC was the only responsive/responsible bidder at a cost of $81,426. See attached Bid Tabulation Sheet.
